Samoan Language Week 2015
Talofa Lava, malo le soifua maua ma le lagi e mama.
During 24 - 30 Mei, we will be celebrating Samoan Language Week.
Did you know that Samoan is the second most spoken language in Auckland and the third most spoken language in New Zealand.
At Glenbrae KIDS we are excited because we have been learning about the Samoan language and culture such as Art - Siapo patterns, Siva Samoa and of course Meai - food.
We will be visiting Aoga a le Teuila Preschool on Thursday to learn about Samoan pese ma taulotu (song and verses).

Glenbrae KIDS ELC - What an exciting day!
What an exciting day! We started the day with a walk through with (Lesley Elia) the Principle from Glenbrae Primary School and some of the staff from TRC. Then later in the day it finally arrived. Yes - Our beautiful brand new furniture from Grocare! Check out some of our pictures.

Glenbrae Primary School Home-School Partnership
Warm Pacific Greetings! Earlier this year we had the wonderful opportunity to meet alot of the parents and whanau at the Glenbrae Primary Home school Partnership Hui. A special thank you to all the parents who signed up their tamariki at our New Glenbrae KIDS Early Learning Centre.

Developing stages of Glenbrae KIDS ELC
It's so exciting - The Glenbrae KIDS Early Learning Centre is developing everyday. Here are some photos taken in February 2015. As you can see the scaffolding is still in place, and the site has a hazards sign so only the contractors are allowed inside the building. Watch this space to see more developments.
